PT Cipta Kridatama (CK) site Multi Harapan Utama (MHU) merupakan perusahaan kontraktor jasa pertambangan yang menerapkan metode peledakan pada aktifitas pengupasan lapisan overburden. Kegiatan geometri air deck bertujuan untuk menghemat penggunaan bahan peledak sehingga nilai powder factor juga turun. Serta mempercepat proses kegiatan tanpa menunggu waktu gassing dengan tetap menghasilkan fragmentasi batuan hasil dan digging time alat gali material sesuai ditargetkan. Dalam hal ini dibutuhkan Air Deck Factor (ADF) mendapatkan Length (ADL) selanjutnya didapatkan pengurangan optimum serta rancangan peledakan. Berdasarkan karakteristik overburden di PIT 270 dibedakan menjadi dua jenis dominan yaitu claystone sandstone. Nilai ADF clay stone sebesar 0,155 0,115 sand ADL 0,3-0,6 0,2-0,5 stone. dihasilkan dapat menurunkan 0,21-0,22 kg/BCM dari dipeledakan konvensional 0,24 kg/BCM, penghematan 8,74% 12,88% setiap lubang.
